The Yokohama specs. were 30.1 but when mounted they measure 29.7 on the 10" wheel. I did take the goofy white step bumper off, and i pulled the front inner wheel well's out (took all of about 10 min.) I cant say i've seen a 77 model this clean on the underside!! To bad its gonna' get chopped !!!

Re: What did you get done?

Well I have been silently watching for a while now and haven't posted in a while. I have been collecting some new parts and setting a direction for the truck. Here is a teaser photo from Friday! I will start a thread soon...

Re: What did you get done?

Nothing truck related. Just getting ready for kid 2.0's arrival in a week or so. This will make two daughters for me. I'm gonna need a garage. Luckily, 1.0 is a little car nut at 4 years old. She even went to Goodguys with me a couple months back.

Re: What did you get done?

Friday and Saturday I went to Audubon park swapmeet and sold a few unwanted parts but still have a few things I need to get ride of, and I bought some sound detonator, header gaskets, and a rebuild distributor, and I parked my truck by my parts and got alot of compliments

Re: What did you get done?

Got the 71 outta the way, drug the 69 home and started on it officially so we can get it shipped to my brothers in Fla., Put the rear end back together on it, cleaned and washed the engine bay, and stabbed the motor last night. hopefully have it running in a couple of days. Today picked up the header gaskets, spark plugs, and header bolts.

Re: What did you get done?

Well this past weekend I was at the beach, so I got NOTHING truck related done. The previous week I bought a new radiator and now I am in the process of putting it in. I bought a lot bigger aluminum 2 row in prep for the 6.0L so I am trying to get it installed. Looks like I will be getting the electric fans sooner than I thought.

Re: What did you get done?

Worked on the project. Talked to a local friend of mine lastnight who does bodywork/paint so I think he'll paint the truck for me. Two tone, black top and bottom, bright yellow in middle, following factory two tone lines. He sounds very willing to get after it, so maybe it will be painted before winter, has been a project of about 6 years I'd guess, no garage really slows the process down. Seats are '86 suburban, had to do some welding to make them work, but not bad. Havn't gotten the lever to work yet that makes them slide. Did some shopping tonight for another $550 worth of parts, braided stainless extended lines, drop drag link, add a leaf, dual steering stabliizers. Still trying to figure out where to get all new rubber (windsheild, back window, door, wing, etc) Any suggestions? Also looking for lighted moon visor new or used.
