Its a custom Mix......Tried to get it close to an original looking color.....Its based off of a Sabb(G.M) color.......But my buddy(a painter at work) and me added a few things to make it different.........I Wont let all my secrets out but there was two additional colors added in the mix.......Along with some peal...And enhancers............Sorry to sound secretive......But its ok if people get close to my color......But i want to keep the actual code to myself........And have something no one else could duplicate............ |

Re: Post your custom dash
I would love to have one with a horn ring. I have just not went out looking for one yet. There is a new one out that is the smaller size, but still has the horn ring. I think its called the classic.

Re: Post your custom dash
Im building an army themed 67 stepper.. The old Jeeps had the speedo in the center of the dash so I used this 57 truck cluster to mix it up a little..

Re: Post your custom dash
It took alot of ebaying to get them in good condition. The speed O is rebuilt from scotts speed o service (on ebay). I replaced all but the clock. I've got alot of extra gauge parts that I need to sell. Just haven't taken the time to do so.

Re: Post your custom dash
Anyone ever see/try late model gauges? That's one of the things I'm considering trying but don't know how much of a pain in the buttOCKS it will be. I like the way these look though. Some nice stuff!

Re: Post your custom dash
I've seen an 84 vette dash in a 67...believe it or not it can be done...It was an old time mechanic next to my work. Looked cool wish I had pic.
But there's yet another idea...

Re: Post your custom dash
Good work folks. Proof that anything can be done with the right tools and imagnation. Personally I think a stock dash is sexy enough. But do admire the quality n workmanship I see in this thread.
