Re: new 87
This really is not that strange at all. Well I mean it is a truck and all but this happens more often then you might think. My 1956 willys wagon has 28,000 original miles on it. My dads 99 Mazda miata has 13,000 orginal miles and we bought it that way last year. True this is not 11 miles but the point is that low miles happen often. I know on my willys it was life that got in the way. The owner parked it and started a family and then passed away at a young age. That seems to be the most commen cause. It sure does not look like this truck was forgotten in a barn tho...... I mean it still runs and looks brand new!
Also my 1985 c10 silverado had a dual side exhaust exactly like this one and my aunts 93 4x4 2500 also had a factory dual pipe exhaust to one side but it was on the other side.

Re: new 87
I emailed teh seller and he said he changed the tires because he liked them . The seat he said is original . The truck is beautiful and would be nice to have . I can see the tread in the pics and it is one of BFG's older tread designs so it matches . I did notice that the first bid is 20K but that there is a reserve . I wonder what it is ?

Re: new 87
pretty cool...... but if it has never seen the streets, i would be kind of scared something would break once you start driving it......wouldnt the engine need a rebuild from sitting

I also agree. But with older vehicles like the 50-60s and such people didn't drive them near as much and we drive are vehicles today. So what could look like a low mileage car now, could have been a higher mileage car then.

Re: new 87
This thing is suspect. I think this is a 100K truck. I don't like the reflection in the paint, and the bed moldings and lines don't line up with the cab. I just asked for pics and the under carriage of the truck - that will tell it all.

Re: new 87
there was an 86 dually that had low miles sold for 18k on ebay;if you wanted a full restoration of an 87 short bed(a one year truck with the efi and the last year of the body style) it would cost a lot more than 20k and would still not be an original;if our canadian dollar had not dropped so far i would bid on this.......
