I've only got one thing to say about this seller's response - in Bernie's post it says "In November I paid $175 + $100 shipping" If a shipping charge was agreed upon there is absolutely no excuse to come back more than three months later and give a sorry excuse that it's difficult to ship something that big. That excuse doesn't cut it.

I agree. In 3 and half months Timmy could have crawled with them to Bernies, delivered them in person and crawled home. If you were selling them Timmy you had a responsibility to get them to the buyer, give him his money back or if there was a legitimate delay to stay in contact with the buyer and keep him advised. At this point be a man and admit your mistakes. Does Bernie have the tracking number for that shipment Timmy?
I have to say that I am really really proud to be member of this board for the way it acts as a comunity and deals with it's problems. Timmy there are ALOT of good and descent people on this board. Most of em are not going to see eye to eye with a dead beat. Act like one and this is a place you will probably be made to feel real uncomfortable.

Hopefully others will learn from this...before you advertise something for sale...damn sure before you cash the f%@king check...make sure you can complete the transaction. I agree w/the previous post...if you can find a bank, you should be able to locate @ least a post office,even if it costs more (you should have verified that prior to the deal)to ship the parts as promised. Timmy...what if someone on this site told you they had a deal on an awsome tranny for about 175$, you sent the money, & then had to wait 3+ months to recieve it...would that not bother you?? How about the e-mails & stuff? To me a bi-weekly courtesy call would have been a simple fix & the least you should have done to update the new owner about his parts since you took his money. I'm not sure about anyone else but this incident sure questions your integrity, & from what I've seen w/this board that's means ALOT. I'm not trying to be a d!%k just my 2 cents.
