Re: Payin' it forward... FREE PARTS
updated...I have removed the parts that are for sure gone. I think I have PM'd everyone else shipping prices. If I receive the payment by tomorrow, parts will go out Monday. Looks like everything will be going out USPS priority (unless noted)

Re: Payin' it forward... FREE PARTS
8mpg, Is the gas tank from a 72'? Crazy request but if it's still available and it's a 72' tank (has a vent line on the passenger side) I need just the tank neck.

I believe it is from a 72. Let me check with the neighbor...he wanted the tank for his truck. If he doesnt, I'll pull it off.

Re: Payin' it forward... FREE PARTS
Thanks. If it's from a 72', that'll be sweet.
The neck on my tank will not take the stock non vented cap because it's sorta bent up a bit so I'm gonna cut my tank neck off and TIG weld another on. I want to keep my tank because I've paid to have it boiled clean and lined. So since I have $$$ invested in the tank, I would like to salvage it so little or no money is lost on this tank. (I didn't relize the neck was bent up like that) Keep me posted, I have Pay Pal. So if it;s a go, send your Pay Pal Addy. Again, Thanks

Re: Payin' it forward... FREE PARTS
I've already posted to the original, but here we go:
In the spirit of the season, and paying it forward, I have a complete clutch/brake pedal assembly and a gmc grille free to a good home. The grille is in liberal daily driver condition. Worst damage is along the bottom. Will NOT ship grille, only pedal assy for the cost of the shipping. Any takers, please PM, as I don't want to tromp on 8MPG's post any further. Pay it forward fellas. |
