Re: Project ''Tailor Made'' LOWESTSIXTY7
After more thinking about it, how will the split rad cool? Won't the water flow take the path of least resistance so if one side flows better for some reason it will not be as efficient or will it? At your point were the water heads in to the radiators did you do a split "Y" or more of a "T" connection? Sorry for all the questions but I am stuck out in the shop spraying my Dad's MB C230 K for him so I am getting board during Flash time's.

Re: Project ''Tailor Made'' LOWESTSIXTY7
water being pumped away is ok to split at a "T" connection, however you don't want it to return through one. This is called a "bullhead t" and created pressure on the system. it would be best to use a "y" connection as mentioned.

Re: Project ''Tailor Made'' LOWESTSIXTY7
just wanted to say i started watching your build on the if site a while ago and wow im amazed, awesome work. im just wondering, why did you have to narrow the crossmember and control arms so much? to clear the inside of the fenders?

Re: Project ''Tailor Made'' LOWESTSIXTY7
Thanks for watching the build up of the truck. The main reason i narrowed the track width so much was becasue the of the fenders and hood first. Second it was because the wheels that are on it were ''free'' so they had a certain offset and backspacing so i had to make do with what i had. If i had to do it over again i would have not narrowed it so much because the steering has been a huge hassle. I would have just ponied up the cash for custom wheels. One thing that would have helped with the steering however would have been moving my motor back another 3 inches.
