Re: Sub Box Build
HAHA! Yeah, for about half a second. This is a project that I started around August. With all my other stuff, TDYs, school, and general partying, there's really no way. No matter how much I would be able to get for them. Thanks for the props though.

Re: Sub Box Build
I like the box a lot, but the door panels are better. Now i've to many ideas. I might install normal diamond plate on my doors, black, painted, or even engine turning.

Re: Sub Box Build
I often wondered about bondo smoothing out these boxes...does it ever crack? most boxes flex somewhat.....but this is so cool! I love seeing inovative attempts and when they succeed...yayy!!!

Re: Sub Box Build
i was kinda thinking the same thing but if it doesn't fall off a vehicle when it flexes from temp changes or gravel roads then it should last imo

Re: Sub Box Build
You could always use marine bondo, Its designed to flex with fiberglass.

Re: Sub Box Build
So you just put the fiberglass on the tape?
Did it just come out after you finished fiberglassing on the tape? Can you give us some tips on how you did it? |
