Re: 66,short,wide,big window..rare?

I tried to find my book that states the list price of every R.P.O., but I think I have it on loan to a fellow doing a "points restoration" on a '65 Chevy C10 swb fleet, so I can not find it right now. If memory serves me correctly, I think it was $35-$50. Considering the truck listed for around $2,000.00, depending on the options, this option would increase the price by 2-1/2% to 3%.

Re: 66,short,wide,big window..rare?

I will post the actual "listed" price when I find the information.

Woogeroo or factorystock may know, as well as few other members, that seem to be very informed about this era of trucks. In the meantime, I will try to find this information in my literature.

Im working on collecting one SWB from each of the body style year ranges that I find attractive. So far I have a 68,98,04 year models.Tomorrow I will have one of the 60-66 styles and then I just need a square body. IMO there isnt a GM truck beyond 2006 that doesnt hurt my eyes, but thats another thread.....
At one point I had all of these trucks at the same time and parked inside. When we moved in 2006 I had to liquidate some of my inventory as I did not have the room to keep all of them inside and, I can't stand seeing stuff sit outside.

Re: 66,short,wide,big window..rare?

OK,
Not as clean as I had originally thought, but nothing ever is. I took a few photos but the light was terrible at 1:00pm. These will have to do.
I secured the trans.which was hanging by the rear mount, gathered up all the loose parts and trim and got the signed title.I'll be picking up thurs. You can see some of the patch job in the floor board corner and you can see body filler in the bed side reflexion.Rust in all the typical areas but overall looks,to me,to be worth 900.,,give or take a few hundred. I might have my hands full w/this one. No matter,,its going in the barn for a couple of years maybe longer. Here are the picks,,as I said, lighting was dreadful.

Hey Inverter, looks like you found a sweet new project truck. Can't wait to see the buildup of this one. I have been following your 98 build and you do some awesome work. I am working on similar projects, a '90 swb and a '65 swb bbw. Are you going to start on this one soon or wait until your '98 is finished?

That doesn't look too bad. The body looks pretty typical for one of these old trucks.

The red GMC in the background looks pretty sharp too.

That thing would go for around $2000 around here! My buddy picked up a rust bucket '64 swb bbw runner for $2500. It's ROUGH!

I understood you ,I just cant collect anymore "parts" .Ive got the trim for it.I will probably be needing new trim for it some day. I just meant that I have a spare bedroom full of new parts and a garage full of existing parts for my other 2 projects. I will be looking at getting a new/bigger place this year cause its getting cramped here at my little city home. Thanks though,~T.
