it would be interesting to see a straight on side shot to really see what the wheel configuration looks like with those rear wheel wells moved back that much. that is a fair job just in itself. wonder what the reason behind it was for. he did shorten the frame- perhaps it didn't want to go any shorter and that was the way to compensate for it.

he mentioned that he took "about " 3 feet out of the 06 cc sb frame, they were 153 inches, so that puts him down to 117, and stock sub is 115.
It looks like he used a set of front fenderwells to create the custom raised rear wheelwells.

here is also a photochop I did trying to line up the extra 2 inches like he did.

not sure if this is the exact same one, or another done almost the same by the same builder... there are a few subtle differences...

I don't think that they are the same Jon. quite a few differences. this one has a 2005 chassis and the other a 2006. rads are different. front bumper on this one sits higher

Has to be the same builder to many things done the same exact way and others with slight mods and color scheme ........ Something to do in those Long Cold Montana winters

the wheel placement seems a little further forward on the latest one. perhaps that set the engine ahead just a bit more

it would make sense, since the other was for sale when we first saw it. I think he def. refined it for the better on this one.... love the look!
