Re: Removing Heads, need help

Alright made some progress.

Heads are torqued down and I've lashed the valves. I just need to set down the intake manifold now.

How do I go about this? Can I use the silicone maker as adhesive for the manifold gasket as well as asealer for the front and rear of the block to manifold area?

Yes just don't go crazy with the silly. If ever you have to take that intake back off you will be cussing yourself.

I usaully just put a little smear on the head side of the gasket and then put them on hte heads and put a heavy bead on the ends of the block and let it set for about thirty minuites, then install the intake.

Good luck
