For myself, I like the big window. However, one plus of the small window is that you have some extra room to mount an area for storage, speakers, etc (and of course make it look cool lol).

Hard decision man. You know, at the end of the day I would probably go for the one that requires less work

if youre just cruising and going to car shows small window. if you actually want to use the truck towing, hauling, merging onto the highway i would prefer big window.

Well it depends on what trim, front end and whether you are going to have sidemarker lights or not. If you have a 67-68 front grill, with no sidemarkers then I say use the small window. If youy are useing a 69-72 front grill with fenders and sidemarker lights, use the big window. Nothing irritates me more than seeing a small window cab with a '72 front grill. THe sidemarkers I can let slide with a 69-72 front grill/fenders, just because I give them the benefit of the doubt that they meant to shave them. But when i see a small window cab, or a hand pull brake, or a roof mounted mirror with a '72 front grill, I see a hobbled together truck. Same thing with '72 doors on anything other than a '72. I'm not trying to be mean or a jerk, and I'm not talking about trucks pieced together to drive. I'm talking about trucks painted nicely, with expensive wheels and nice interiors at car shows. To me it shows a lack of research, which is part of the hobby. JMHO.

and in that sense i dont wanna vote, but in term of helping you out i say big window because it can be all years, and it sounds like the roof of the cab is better on the 70 cab

I agree with these guys 100% also if you're going to bag it with 20+ wheels I think the large window, a small window cab IMO looks better on something a little less radical.

jorgensensc i definitely agree with you on that one....i will be using a 68 front clip but shaving the sidemarker lights, and i dont have any trim to put on the truck really except for the 67 c10 fender emblems....im actually surprised i thought there was more love for the big window cabs around the site. i'll post some pics tomorrow when its nice out of the problem areas on both cabs, and then i'll get an idea of what i might be getting into. thanks so far for everyones opinions!

Well, then in that case I would say go with the small window, it takes less work, however I do agree with some of the posts above. I think a big window would look better on a really custom truck, or a true daily driver. The small window would look good on a mild custom to stock truck.
