Talking Re: 68 Suburban Coolbus Build/maintain.

Tinted it today... 5% for all but the front two and vent windows those were done at 20%. It turned out pretty good for my first tint job ever! I did learn that the area to be tinted has to be SUPER SUPER clean... I have a few spots that dont look so well... we will see how they hold up over time.

Look good, I wish we could go 20% on the front. State law says no more than 50% here.

All it needs now is an altitude adjustment.

Oh I know it... I am saving up for the bags right now. Im debating if I should notch the frame at the same time or wait.

Re: 68 Suburban Coolbus Build/maintain.

You might as well do it while you're in there. If you use the bolt-in notch, it'll have to go between the frame and the top of the bag.

Nice burb. I tinted my windows the same way, you'll be happy with it. Also, when you're baggin' it, take it one step at a time as money comes.

Finally an update!!
Well I have been saving up slowly but surely and finding killer deals on parts. It will be bagged starting next Monday!!! But for now I just cut the springs up front and put on some 20"s I got a deal on just to get an idea of how it would look. Its gonna lay frame when all is said and done and I couldn't be happier!

Awesome find and great progress

I'm jealous, I really want to get a burb as a family hauler and you got such a killer deal on yours. It will probably be a few years before I'm ready to buy one, but figure when I do, I'll make a family vacation out of making a trip down to the SW to find a good condition one like yours!
