Re: I went 9.82 in the 1/4 YeeHaw
That truck is haullin'...
I agree that the numbers don't add up right, but remember that he said he lifted just after the 1/8th. That could be why the the 1/4 does not work with the quick 1/8th mile time. What track are you running at?

Re: I went 9.82 in the 1/4 YeeHaw
I would be impressed if any heavy truck 60ft'd that quick with a 632 on a 400 shot out of the hole!

Re: I went 9.82 in the 1/4 YeeHaw
Thats sweet man! can you drive your truck around alittle or is it 2 rowdy ? Im building a 1972 blazer with a 598 and hope 2 drive 2 my local dragstrip which is about 40 miles and see if I can get my MT drag radials to put down about that same time slip. I will use less converter and footbrake it though.I did over build it enough to spray if need be and bought 10 custom pistons, just to be safe. Nice looking truck by the way. Oh yeah are drag strip is less than 200ft above sea level. the season is quite short 2.

Re: I went 9.82 in the 1/4 YeeHaw
Truck is way too rowdy to drive anywhere but as far as what it can do we will find out for sure on the 21st, that is if I can keep my wits about me.
Going to Pinks all out and hopfully I can do us all proud. Thanks Keith

Re: I went 9.82 in the 1/4 YeeHaw
Sweet. Its time to update the signature. Those 60ft's look more like it. I think you got some left in the combo. Are you getting full throttle when you mash the gas to the floor?

Those time slips make more sense. And remember, it warming up. This fall when things cool down you'll be right back in the 9's,, no doubt in my mind
Congrats

Re: I went 9.82 in the 1/4 YeeHaw
Yeah must've been draggin something or a skunk run across the track!! LOL
Mine had 1.18 60's with the back tires it went 5.24 @ 135 @ 3200 lbs. That was a shakedown with one small kit and the end of last year and the track turned bad never got it down the rest of the day. Can't wait to run again shortly!! |
