that's ok, Longhorn...I was thinking of second guessing a guru, going against what you said and trying it out anyway! hehe :p
I wasn't quite sure what you guys meant by the cut doors but those pictures really help. I like the nice looking grills for the hot air vents on the sides of the hood on the mean-green one way up there. Greg

Well...after all the talk about this I still haven't made it back to the yard to check it out. Partly this is 'cuz the last time I whizzed past the place it looked like the truck may no longer be there and partly it's because winter is finally starting to settle in here and it's not as much fun to scrounge. I'm still going to look more carefully at these things the next time I find one!

The doors are all the same with the exeption of the cut out for clearance for the wheel well for the large truck tires, and the dash mod is pretty simple to change. When I was in the salvage I sold alot of doors for the c/50 and above we just revamped the corner. It would be pretty simple to weld a corner back using a doner hood or door for sheet metal. Also make sure you use a 6 cyl. tach with a 6 and a 8 with a 8.,for you guys with one ton work trucks the air gauge that is in the ones with air brakes makes a cool set up for a under hood air compresser.
