Re: Flip kit help

when the front is done the rear bumper will raise just a bit, it may be enough to clear the ground

Not yet. I have been busy with school for the last few weeks. I get a day off next week and I am gonna try to knock it out then. I am kinda nervous about it. All I can think about is a coil spring flying off.

Re: Flip kit help

stock, the axle is under the leafs and with a flip kit the axle are on top of the leafs, which will lower it 5 to 8 inches depending on the more leaf springs the lower you will go, and also if you have about 3 leafs springs with no over load it was also lower it about 7 inches

Re: Flip kit help

i think my auto teacher use to put a chain threw the coil then put the jack under it and let it down ,,i guess so if it would come out the chain would stop it form going any where

I just leave the nut on the lower ball joint and give it a couple of wacks, then put the jack underneath and release the tension, take the nut off and then lower the jack. and vuala spring is out.

Ive changed mine out so much trying to find the right combo it only takes me and hour for both sides lol.
