Exclamation

I am thinking a piece of tape and JB Weld will fix you right up. For a repair that small I wouldn't bother with a regular welder. If you haven't used it before, give it a try. It is great stuff.

radio plate

Hi, I am new to this board. I had the same problem when i got my first 68 the radio part of the dash was completelty cut out and somebody made a custom plate and bolted it in, after i got it cut out the rest of the way i put a newer cd player in it but heres the sad part i let my friend driver the truck a week later and i was with him but we were on a country road and he saw a deer and swerved and we wrecked into a 10-12 foot ditch at about 50-60 something miles an hour i didn't have a speedometer. it really hurt but we were ok. here is a pic of it, bye

[QUOTE]There would be two more smaller holes for the screws that held the cover, one above and one below, if it was the ejection seat switch.

my hole on the left was for a push button start, and there used to be a light under it for the generator they had in back.

I have had 3 trucks with that hole to the right of the dash bezel , and all 3 were wired with switches for auxillary gas tank to run gas gauge
