Re: My truck is done... finally
X 2. 1600 X 1200 doesn't work so good on my (old)monitor. Its cool its a LWB, and the color is awesome! I might have have lowered it a bit more, but that's just my opinion. Great truck!!

Re: My truck is done... finally
the color on that is awesome. I don't want to steal your color but I would like to know what color code or name it is. Its a shade or two off what what I'm looking for on my truck. I work in a body shop and I know pictures do NOT do color any justice; I'd want to see if we have any color chips of it

Re: My truck is done... finally
looks great! i had an 84 ranger about that color. wish mine was that close! looking at yours makes me rethink mine.... i was going to paint the whole firewall the color of the truck (spi orange) but i like the way yours looks black from the gutter down... would be easier. not sure about inner fenders being body color but inside fenders is a must.every time i log on here i rethink my plans.

Re: My truck is done... finally
ha ha, it is actually at a shop were i work. it stores many cars, other heavy machinery for gravel crushing. it was used for a company truck when bought in the late 70's from a camp ground. it was parked in 89 and sat there with a full tank of gas for 20 years. the straight six was taken out and given away. the hood was stored indoors though. when we draged it out of the ground, there was still air in the tires... as i said earlier there was THOUSANDS of ants. we then started to dissasemble it. i found a couple mice in the dash. then we took apart the heater and we found a big nest of them. and there was the gas tank that was rusted out leaking horrible smelly gas everywere. lots of rust to.

Re: My truck is done... finally
I am constantly amazed at what is restorable. You did a ton of great work to your truck. Another one is saved. Great job. I once had a 64 Chevyll ant farm. Ants don't play, when they take over, it's over.

3" front and rear. It has 275/60/15 in the rear and 255/60/15 in the front. Oh yah, no engine in it right now so it is up high in the front at the moment.

Re: My truck is done... finally
That is one heck of a color! Its really nice to see more on the road other than the generic silver black red blue of all the imports today "oh look a blue civic" not the same as "dannnnnnng look at that chevy!"

Nice truck. Mine needs some body work if you want to do it. You know, now that yours is done you might get bored.
