man torch red and a metallic black looks killer thats what i did with all my accessories i was toying around with the idea of painting the sides and front of my hood red with the raised part metallic black with silver pinstripping on the V

ok.. blasting is done.. figured id try my hand at welding.. started off a little rough and burned through just about EVERYTHING.. but finally got the voltage and wirespeed right and i think im gettin the hang of it.. by no means a pro yet.. im learning.. goin to finish welding up pinholes and spray the bottom with bedliner in the morning. pictures to come later..

A lot of times the reason your burning through is because the metal is so thin from the rust. When you get to good metal it won't burn though as easy.

alright i havent posted in a while.. i have lots of updates..
i finally finished the underside of the cab. slip on supports welding up 4spd hole, a few patch panels here and there and got it bedlined. i set cab on the frame.. and epoxy primered it. its now at my buddys paint booth prepping for paint.. more pics to come

yea, im not a huge fan of chrome. so i figure black will do the trick..
however, huge setback today. apparently the catylist we used with the clear was no good. and it didnt dry. so while we were cleaning the shop and a freak rainstorm came, it ruined it. waterspots everywhere.. so.. off to the sandblaster again fml

update.. we decided to see if the clear would dry over the next day or two.. and it is looking promising.. the waterspots are mostly dissapearing, and because it is to be a daily driver, and it is only the firewall... and since we are on a deadline.. we are leaving it. so the z-bar bracket, motor, and trans went in today.. pics to follow
