Re: Those with Coys!!! PICS PLEASE

Like I mentioned above, it will be in your best interest to take your truck to a local (reputable) tire/wheel shop and let them help get some accurate measurements for you. It can be a costly mistake....

For instance, check out this thread... link.

Re: Those with Coys!!! PICS PLEASE

I just ordered my set.

Got the gun metal with 20X8.5 (4 3/4" Backspacing) and 20X10 (5 1/2" Backspacing)

I'll be running 245/40 and 295/40 BFG tires also.

I think the 255/25 and 295/45 will be a bit tall.

***I'm running cool ride bags w/ CPP Modular spindles***

Below is a truck (not mine) I found running the same tire size I plan on using but on Torq Thrusts.

Re: Those with Coys!!! PICS PLEASE

back to the top for those who might not have seen it.

large tires on 20" wheels. What are you running? I would love ot know. I want to run a good size 255 tire up front and a 285/295 tire out back. i would prefer a 45 series tire but would do a 40 series.

Re: Those with Coys!!! PICS PLEASE

Do you have to do any cutting to get the 20x10 wheels to fit in the rear? I want to do the same setup with mine. Thanks.

Re: Those with Coys!!! PICS PLEASE

Thanks guys! No cutting at all....just had to "clean up" the the hub area of the rotor and put a little beat down on the dust cap and they went right on. Side note the 295's on the 10" wheels looked huge on the back!

I'm not sure where you got that price,... but I think it is incorrect. The last time I checked Newstagia Wheels,... 20x8 TorqueThrusts were close to $450-$500 each.

Re: Those with Coys!!! PICS PLEASE

I have a Autocad file for a spacer for the center caps so you dont have to modify the front hubs or beat down the dust caps. Thickness needs to be
1/4" for the material. If anyone wants a copy just send me an email or PM me and I'll be more than happy to send it to you. I have sent several out allready to many other board members and they work great.

It's hard to believe that someone out there isn't running 20's all the way around on a 4/6 drop. Does it just not work well?

I was looking at the summit prices, but they dont come in 5x5, the closest is 5x4.75, http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ARE-105M28561A/

20x10 5.5 BS 275.35.20
20x8.5 5 BS 245.35.20

Most people don't go with 35 series but I like the look. Backspacing is fine but I would like the fronts pushed out a little bit more. The grinding of the hubs was not that bad but it was required and remember to paint your brakes and everything all up cause everything shows

Oops,... I thought you were talking about AR's Torque Thrust II's (which is a 2-piece wheel). Those are the Torque Thrust-M's (which is a 1-piece wheel) available in the new Camaro and Mustang Backspacing. Sorry.

Anyone have a real close up picture of these wheels? Talked to Coys today....no longer carry the chrome with a 5" BS, can only get 5.5 BS. Has a shippment coming in mid Sept and says its 90% sold.

I decided to go with with these instead of the Foose wheels. Price was exactly the same. But you end up with more of a lip due to the fact yo can only get the Legends in a 6.25 BS (20x10's anyway)

Ill be ruuning 20x10 with a 5.5 BS and 295 40 and 20x8.5 with 4.75 BS and 255 45's.

Anyway if some one has some close ups that would be great.
