LOL, I have about a dozen magazines here at my deck that have 67-72's that had certain things done to them that I wanted to do to mine.

Re: Chevys From Texas Showdown
I've kept some magazines like that in the past. Then I kept more, and then more. Then I couldn't remember what was in which one and so forth! Man old age is going to be hell on my memory no better than it is now!

Re: Chevys From Texas Showdown
I read on another forum that it is your old truck. They had a before and after picture. Did anybody take more pics of this one. It lays hard.

Re: Chevys From Texas Showdown
The member you are referring to is Greens69. That "was" his truck. He bought it as a fairly finished project, and went all out to finish it at the level of quality it was started. He later sold it to a friend. Unfortunately, the current owner doesn't visit this forum.

it depresses me to see what they have done to your old truck man. it "used to be" one of my favorite square bodies ever....not now

I like it the old way. I think the red wheels are too much.

Re: Chevys From Texas Showdown
I bought the truck with the wheels painted. I did not like it at first either but I'm getting used to it. I just got done cleaning up all the crappy wiring under the hood and putting in a nice system. Building a nice SBC for it now that should throw down some power. The paint is Hot Rod Flatz I have a few questions for ya....shoot me an email z28ss21@hotmail.com |

Re: Chevys From Texas Showdown
Bob- Yes, his name is Steve. He sold it to a mutual friend named Mike aka Smiley.
Big Cliff-Welcome to the forum. We are glad to see you come on board. Don't take the comments personal about your truck, we just really liked the way it looked before. I applaud you for trying something different, and I kinda like it...
