heys guys i have been checking in on the reports.......
he is going to do more looking and i think he maybe getting to the point and pulling the cyclinder from the top on the block.....my buddy can be a little stuburn at times...so i will let everyone know progress... as far as a warranty on the setup goes this is a craiglist find. he got the engine knowing it was jacked up. the seller gave him a ton of info on what part numbers to get, so my buddy visted our local dealer and ordered all the parts, and had the block and everything inspected. once again thanks for all the help.....

nothing yet........he proclaims it has quieted(sp) down... "must of fixed itself, or it is fixen to explode" his famous last quote. the event is next weekend so it will either go or blow. so i will let you guys know how it all turns out.
