Re: I saw my trucks better twin

wow, nice camaro, nice powerplant, and he even picked out nice wheels(I'm not much for the style, but the brand is great, never problems with those wheels...)

Very cool project, looks like it's at the right shop too!

Re: I saw my trucks better twin

I went to a local cruise that happens on the first saturday of every month coincidently I met the owner of my twins truck we talked for a while . I told him about this website and I emailed him the link to this thread for him to see it. His truck should be ready to go in about another month or so. We will show our trucks together to every show we can. Super nice guy..

Is it me,... or are the upper control arms on the wrong sides?

It was bugging me so I had to ask,...

Wow... that shop turns out some amazing rides, and that '71 is going to be one sick truck.

Your BIL's Camaro is coming along nicely; be sure to post some pics when it's finished.

You beat me to it. That's the first thing I noticed in that picture!! A perfect example of the little things that are important. You can have a classy chassis, but a rusty bolt will turn it nasty.

Re: I saw my trucks better twin

I went to huge car show about 30 minutes north of me. I saw the better twin finished up and took some picts of it and I wanted to show everyone the finished truck.....I sat in it that seat in leather and shaped it is so comfortable and the motor sounds bad ass they had it on the dyno this past week and it has 788 hp to the wheels...

Re: I saw my trucks better twin

A very nice truck for sure.

Al, I think you do your truck a disservice though, calling that a "better" truck.

I happen to like the stock interior for one, I also like being able to drive a truck every day rain or shine.

I sure as hell would not want to feed that motor every day as a driver!

It's a beauty and I admire that gent's vision.

But your truck Al, I would take over that one any day if both trucks were offered. For free of course!

Re: I saw my trucks better twin

No doubt its a nice truck, almost too nice... I guess Im just finally at the part of my life were function is more importrant than flash. I have had my share of the high dollar cars that are really only good for car shows and the occaisional trip to the drag strip and maybe a cruise night every once in a while. Then just sit in the garage and look cool the rest of the time. Now give me Big Als truck, I could go anywhere anytime, rain or shine and still turn heads everywhere I went. Crank up the A/C and the tunes and just go.... But I guess I just past the high performance part of my life..... So just give me Big Al's truck and I would be a happy camper....
