Re: im stumped on a color choice

I like blue, I think it ages the best, plus the interior of my truck is already blue so it saves me from having to paint it.

Re: im stumped on a color choice

If its a keeper, color don't matter its yours. But if you think of sellin' red, orange or black. Heres a example, I got a buddy that built a 72 4x4 went with the stock light blue. Now he wants to sell and hasn't had no luck. Two guys said wrong color for that kind of money. I told him when he was buildin' to go with red or orange and he would have done sold it.

Too true, I painted my 67 Camaro red even though everyone said it will just be another red Camaro and you know what, they were right, it's just another red Camaro that everyone wishes they owned. Red is common for a reason, most people love a red muscle car or truck. I've been to Pomona dozens of times and the red cars for sale have lines of buyers waiting to plop down their cash.

Re: im stumped on a color choice

Mines flat black and I love it for the first hour after washing it, then its already dirty again ( somthing to think about if your considering black), I have always liked the sky blue and white until I saw the grapefruit and white, that gets my vote all day

For me: (1) Blue/White or (2) Hugger Orange/White.

Re: im stumped on a color choice

Stick with the color setup it was initially... but I do like Andy's color recommendation.

Re: im stumped on a color choice

I am a big fan of keeping the original base color. I vote back original. At least keep the original green. My truck was originally the dark olive metallic green with the light green top. Chuck, the previous owner decided to go back with the dark olive metallic green with a white top and center. Me likey!
