 It looks like you got a good base to work with...IMO mig with gas is so much nicer what ever happens just keep learning ...and asking

hey man id start looking on craigs list in eastern washington and oregon. probably find a rust free long box for $200. i just sold a rust free 76 cab with title for a hundred bucks. ill keep an eye out for another, rust free trucks are a dime a dozen down here
