Re: A Barrett Jackson truck
I appreciate the work involved to make it look like that.
However I'm not real big on lowered trucks or short wheel base trucks. If you want a cool muscle car, buy/build a cool muscle car. If you want a truck, buy/build a truck. Relax, just my opinion.

Re: A Barrett Jackson truck
So with the 10% stuff and what the guy said he had in rcpts, did he actually make any money?
I love these trucks and thought that the 10K that I put into my was alot, but NO WAY would I spend that much money on these trucks, must be nice to have money to waste like that.... Smitty

Re: A Barrett Jackson truck
I love the paint color of this truck.
But for me the interior was a big turn off. The color of the interior was great. I just not a fan of the "old style" setup. Just my opinion here.

Re: A Barrett Jackson truck
Thats good money for a truck in my opinion.
The "Habanero" C-10 only pulled only in the 40K range when it went across (I believe last year) |

I'm watching the news this morning and the auctions in AZ have been torn up by the wind and rain. We actually had a tornado watch last night. The news showed collapsed tents, cars impaled by debris, and convertibles top down in the rain (I can only assume the covers were ripped off by wind). So I guess he's lucky he sold it before it got wrecked........ |

I know how expensive it gets really quick specially when you buy quality brand new stuff. Sometimes is not about making money is about geting most of it back some guys enjoy building them.

Re: A Barrett Jackson truck
Probably one of the coolest trucks I have ever seen. Could have done without the side vent, but hey, you can't win 'em all.

Re: A Barrett Jackson truck
I am not much into custom modifications, but that truck is gorgeous. I really like that the exterior, although modified, keeps the correct lines and feel. Especially like that the red bowtie is left on the grill (oft times the first thing to be changed). The interior is a different story all together. Done well, but I don't like it at all.

Re: A Barrett Jackson truck
I think if they would have done w/out the side vents and created a contoured center console to match the contour on the door panels and blend into the dash the truck would have gone to an entirely other level....but it is still an amazing truck....hope mine gets at least half that much when I sell it

Re: A Barrett Jackson truck
They said they recessed it in....looking at the pictures it looks like the top corners of the gasket didn't cover the recessed area...did it look like that in person? Could you tell how they flushed in the rear windshield?

Nice truck. I will take some ideas away from it. I hope mine is that nice, but I would never sell.

Re: A Barrett Jackson truck
Very nice truck but different. Lots of work has gone into this truck and I bet it rides and handles well.

Re: A Barrett Jackson truck
Surely you were just being sarcastic....no way you would think $15K for a custom truck of this quality?
Are you just joking or are you really switching your build? Paint is base coat/clear coat 2007 Toyota Desert Sand Mica I love the truck...It's just a little too nice for a daily driver though. If I was gozillionaire I would buy one like already done and drive the h out it. |
