Re: Outrageous cl ad

No you guys missed it. The only reason he's asking that price is because of the wicked awesome brush guard on the front. that makes it a steal. If only I was closer

Re: Outrageous cl ad

Just another misled fool. I talked to a guy the other day who swore the fenders from his '46 dodge pu were worth $7,000.00, I don't know where they get these ideas.

But states that the "ps, pb, ac, comp. not there.". In other words the engine goes with the truck but the listed accesories do not. But I agree if hes truely asking for 10,000 hes either really not interested in selling it, or doesnt know the street value of said truck. If that the later is the case then yes...Thank you Barrett Jackson.
Very well put Smallz. You get an A from this public school teacher.

Re: Outrageous cl ad

I do not know him, but I did contact him. He lives about 32 miles from me, here is what became of it:

"I am minutes east and had a few questions.

What transmission is in it?

What wheels and tires are on it?

Where are you located? I go to Ark City weekly.

Does it have a clean and clear title?

How much?"

His REPLY:

"it has a turbo 400, just some slotted mags, 11/4 mile north of ac clear title, $10,000.00"

My next question:

"No offense intended, where did you come up with that price?"

His REPLY:

"it doesn't matter where i came up with the price. that is the price."

Re: Outrageous cl ad

Hey, Im selling my truck for $25,000.00

It does NOT have the original motor or transmission.
But, the motor will go with the truck and it runs.
It does have matching fenders, cab and bed (they are all primer)

Any takers? Going once...twice...

LOL

Probably for some more crack. He obviously smoked what he had before writing up this ad.

Re: Outrageous cl ad

Man, I believe that I could build a truck of that stature for $10,000.00----without any parts being available.
