Re: HELP! pic a wheel guys;)
I know you already made a decision but ill add my two cents. I originaly purchased the coys and when they arrived they looked good but the shine wasnt on par with other polished rims i have owned. I ended up selling them when i lost my job. when it was time to order them again the service i got from coys was very poopy. So i looked around and went with the 225s. the shine is good but it is a billet and takes matainence. i also think that they are made out of a soft metal, so be carefull with pot holes.

Re: HELP! pic a wheel guys;)
thanks for the input buddy... ive never had such a hard time with something like this! picking the color was ALOT easier!!! i'm not worried about the maintence. that's just part of the deal i hope the shine doesnt over power all the trim on my truck... i guess we'll see
and on the slots man... i will never get rid of them. as story has it, after my grandfather picked up the truck at the dealer he went straight to a tire shop and had the anson's put on with 60 series tires! so i have to hold on to them. they are just part of the truck

Did anyone ever confirm if the Eagle 225's fit the front hubs with 1.25" wide rotors?

Sure, they look "ok", but they are not up to the QUALITY of other, similar style wheels....like Intro, Team III, American, Cragar, etc.... Cheap and VALUE are not the same thing.....

Re: HELP! pic a wheel guys;)
I vote neither. Put a set of Ansen 17" wheels on the truck to change it up, but still keep it's original character. They a re a heck of a lot cheaper, to boot.

Uhhhh.... no doubt all of those wheels you mentioned are much better quality, but he is asking about Coys or AR 225's... I said that the "classic style" will never be over done... The 225's are a copy of a few different wheels as well.... |

Re: HELP! pic a wheel guys;)
I vote for the 225s, If you havent seen them in person you need to. They are really a nice wheel for the price, honestly I was shocked when we pulled them out of the boxes. Wasnt expecting them to be that nice, But be aware just like on the other thread the 1.25" HD brakes will not fit into the wheel center bore. They need to be shaved down about an 1/8 of an inch.

Re: HELP! pic a wheel guys;)
thanks guys for all the honest opinions!!
so when you say shaved down are you talking about the rotor hub needs to be ground down all the way back to the rotor 1/8th inch? or just the front part? and will the center caps go on without any problems?
