We have the RPO, B80. Therefore it was a factory option. Some parts like this would be shipped with the truck and installed at the dealership. I don't know that these were done that way

Thanks Special K, I saw and noted that Gene had posted B80 in the thread above. The only reference I have seen of it being B80 is from a third party site and not a GM notation.

Does anyone have GM documentation or better yet, an SPID with the B80 on it?
Just hoping for verification.

I know this is old thread but ran across some Golden State parts a few months ago, still in the box, new. Luckly got to purchase it. Headliner trim and drip rail trim. Well-made stuff.

You can accept the data found on www.outintheshop.com as verified GM information. It would be nice to see it on a SPID. I believe it was a short-lived option, so a rare bird. One fact is GM made this part and another is there is an RPO for it.

Special K, thanks for your input and I have no reason to doubt Outintheshop as "verified GM information."

I have used their site and admit they have a great site but Where did they get the information? As their site says quoted below, if they don't have a code listed, send it to them. Perhaps, if they have time, they can share how they verified the B80 code.

Jeff has been collecting SPIDs for many years and has over 1000 of them, which is where he has sourced most of the RPOs.

I'm not convinced B80 is associated with or was offered on these trucks. The only place I've ever seen B80 drip rail molding is on a Chevelle. Has anyone every seen B80 on a truck of this era? Would love to see one if it's out there!

I had an original 69 CST and the drip rail wasn't on it. Now my truck could have been built after GM cancelled the option. I saw the molding ona truck at a Car Show the otHer day and want it for my truck. Pictured is the truck I had.
