Re: What did you get done 9/19/10 edition

Saturday, went to daughter's cross country meet, she cut her time by 1/3 from last year!
Sunday, drove 150 miles to the family farm show a guy my S10, he's picking it up Tuesday. That will let me get to all my stuff stored behind it so I can bring it down to my barn. Pulled the freezer full of 455 Buick parts out of the family garage. Dragged it and some farm equipment home.

Ran the tractor and brush hog for about 2 hours. Should have worn sun block.....

Re: What did you get done 9/19/10 edition

I worked on call this weekend, so I didn't get near as much done on my E3 install as I wanted to. I did enjoy a small victory late Sunday evening as I finally got the system completely wired and was able to power it up for the first time.

The celebration was short though. I soon discovered I had no pwer to my compressor. After a lot of research I decided to rip the power wire out and start over. That's when I found the turn on relay from the original system that was hidden under the fender liner.

It does have a really cool display though.

Put new real wheel seals and wheel cylinders on the truck. got my brakes painted so theyll look better for the new wheels whenever I get them. Painted everything black except the calipers, they're red.

That dance is so funny! I nearly did the MC Hammer dance when mine cranked with the key!

Re: What did you get done 9/19/10 edition

went to a carshow in Alva Ok was pretty sweet they had a dyno there for everyone to test on. Saw a couple trucks but didn't get a chance to take any pics. There were 2 nice squares and 2 that look like they just came out of the farm barn rusted clear through.

Re: What did you get done 9/19/10 edition

Fired up my truck after she had been sitting in the woods for the last ten years, pretty much threw a battery and a radiator in her, and just hit the key to see if the starter still would crank and off we went, fired right up, was kinda surprised, no knocking no nothing, surprised but very happy nonetheless
