Re: Please show me your fuel lines with edelbrock carberators
Here is mine, LOL. Go easy on me, I've only had the truck for about 2 weeks and haven't had time to address the multitude of issues under the hood.
It's difficult to see in the pic, but the steel line from the fuel pump actually runs up in between the back of the water pump and the timing cover. It looks factory except it appears to be bent "up" right at the filter. I like the looks of that banjo "L" fitting that others have posted. You can also see the awesome throttle return spring mount on the radiator hose.

The "bent custom and performance" link above triggers my Eset NOD 32 anti-virus alert.
Beware. |

SHOOT!......I posted this pic and then realized this is not the "show me your bad-a$$ racing Holley and fuel line setup" thread! lol Must be on the other forum.
I too like "slick67" pic because it's clean. Ideally you want a screen filter before the pump and a fine filter between pump and carb. You could do a nice setup with a filter into a reg and then into the carb. You'll need a small pipe bender and a double flare tool to make your own line. |

Re: Please show me your fuel lines with edelbrock carberators
Making your own is the cleanest way but you need to take your time and have a little know how to get the bends to come out in the right location. Pre-bent can be just fine but the "universal" stuff doesn't always fit just right.

Re: Please show me your fuel lines with edelbrock carberators
I'm not an Edlebrock guy, but it seems to me that they would have some sort of coupling device (not rubber) that you could get from them to attatch your fuel line to the carb. Try their website. I've looked at it in the past. Lots of parts and info.

Re: Please show me your fuel lines with edelbrock carberators
I will post a pic of mine. I have a carter electric fuel pump, no regulator and rubber lines from the fuel line to the carb. Im sure you guys are not happy with that, but I have no problems with pressure.
