I was under $2000 until I changed my 3-speed manual to a turbo 350 in December of 2001. At the same time I changed the single exhaust to the LMC dual exhaust "kit".

I paid $1200 in 1994 and had to do little other than a valve job and new cam. The valve job cost me $250 including a different set of junk-yard heads. The cam was $100 plus the gasket set.

Money well spent as far as I'm concerned. Still cheaper than a brand new 4x4.
