I'm running flowmaster 40's on mine roller cammed small block . It sets car alarms off I love it !!!!!

Here's my '72 (RIP). Sorry it's only at idle. I was taking pics. They are Series 40 Flowmasters with tail pipes all the way back out the rear.
Thing is, the Series 40 sound like this if you are cammed up pretty good. I'm going with the same mufflers and 2.5 pipes, headers. But milder cam. So I don't know what the new build will sound like. I hope it's close.

i'm a huge fan of the flow masters. my brother put a 3 1/2 inch 10 series on his 6.0 chevy silverado and it sounds awesome. loud and clean. so i picked up 2 2 1/2 inch for my 68. i dont have a cross over and they go all the way back. very throaty and its not too bad in the cab. wish i had a video to share.

i bought the pro seris 40 knock off flowmasters they sell on ebay for 59,95 free shipping and they are actually better made then my real pair of flowmasters i paid 64 each for ,, and there the exact same except inside the welds are better on the knock offs , ,,, heard flowmaster ddnt pay for the pat pend,

straight honest, get on summitracing, look at the summitracing street and strip muffler. its a flowmaster 40 in disguise. talk about an awesome sound. not only is it loud, but almost sounds like a mountain lion the way it growls. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YIvAxdmfE5s and they are only 29.95 a piece.
