You can buy the strips here

http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...pecs%2FLB3.htm

I then just hogged out the back of the housing, laid the strip in and then sealed everything with silicone. I used silicone because these strips are not waterproof. I did this mod on my old set of lights to try it, when I buy my new lights I will angle the strip a little bit so it shines straight out the back when mounted in the fender. Currently they are mounted flat in the housing so they are brighter when standing a little to the side vs. straight on the rear.

I have no problem shipping it to Canada but based on the size of the boxes I bet it's $200 in shipping!

It's a grant wood grain steering wheel. When I first saw it I said "that thing has to go" but then I drove the truck some and it feels real nice!

Between airlines, valves, compressors, etc. Airbags can be high maintenance. Where I am going to towing a big boat I really don't want any problems which is why I opted for a static drop instead

Never seen anyone pull a truck bed like that. I'll keep those pics on file if you don't mind.

Also, that tan / gold two-tone is AWESOME. Please don't paint it.

Re: My 84 CC Dually mod thread - there will be plenty of pics

I know you said bags can be high maintance,But if you run the back of your truck with helper bags then there is really no issue. Or if you did a 4 link then use an air tank and a leveling valve with a small compressor, you never have to maintance anything except to drian the small amount of water that may build up after a year. Every air tank I use in my projects as well as customer projects have a drain valve in the bottom of the tank. I use air tanks from the trucking industry and they have a pull cable on them so you dont have to get under truck to drain moisture. I also work on Semis and they never have issues with lines and air bags. Just a thought. And when you load the trailer..the leveling valve will add air as needed to set truck as the pre set hieght, when you unhook trailer,it deflated the bag until leveling valve is back to the preset lenght. Not to menchen how much better it will ride when empty. I have Air ride and my own designed 4 link in the back of my 97' cre cab truck. It rides like a caddy! Hope this helps. Cool truck and boat!

That's the way you do it when your all by yourself and you don't have easy access to a chain fall. I have one in my garage to pull engines but it's location in the ceiling doesn't lend itself to removing a bed!

I built a 2x4 frame that was about the same height as my truck frame and then with the rear wheels and bumper off I just slid it off the back thats how I do mine

this is a good picture to look at. you'll need to remove them over load stops that are on the frame once you get the shackels in and cut the one support on your bed where the shackle hits it having your bed on saw horses will make that task easy

if you look at your front hanger you can see what I was saying about making a braket and move it up it be easy

That's a cool way to do it! And with the tires off you eliminate the clearance problem with the lower edge of the fender!

So your new shackle hit the bed support? When I was doing some checking the other day with the bed still on I noticed it would be close but it didn't look like it would touch. Can you snap a photo?
