Hey guys........Here are some answers to some of your questions:

I put new bedsides on the truck because the originals needed a lot of repair. That is why they have the sidemarkers. I decided I didn't want to fill the holes in with body filler or weld on the sides.

The interior is not complete yet so I haven't taken any pictures of it. It is scheduled to be done this week though so I will post after it is completed.

The engine is a performance 350 with aluminum heads and it has been blueprinted. I bought it from the guy who had it done and it had approx. 10K miles on it. I am not much of an engine guy but it is a strong motor pushing 325 or so horses. I haven't chromed it out too much yet but I plan to.

I am from the Raleigh, NC area.

It is lowered 2" in front and 4" in rear. I lowered with coil springs and it actually rides and handle very good.

I don't have the exact color code handy but I will post it.....maybe...If you live in NC you can't use though..........j/k.....

Here is the first picture I took in the process. We had already completed the cab body work and primered it. The black streaks are guide coat for block sanding........The cab is the only original sheet metal.......I replaced the fenders, skirts, entire bed, and of course the cowl hood.... I produced a lot of happy ebayers along the way, as well as GMCPauls, LMC Truck, Southern Ky Parts, Dixie Trucks Works and several others........LMC Truck even sent me a thank you card..........I must have bought too much from them........

hey man, nice truck. that blue looks deadly. that engine compartment looks great just the way it is man. i think that a nice painted clean engine lloks way better than goood ol chrome, but in the end its yer choice man. just my $.02.

Did you use Goodmark sheetmetal...in particular, the bedsides?
How did they fit?

I purchased the bedsides and fenders from LMC Truck. They lined up and installed beautifully. I did not even have to drill a hole. I can't remember the brand but they worked great. They were not GoodMark I am sure of that. The hood came GMCPauls and it was not GoodMark either. He can probably tell you what brand. I have thrown out all the boxes.
