my cab was beyond repair..so i got a different cab..got it all stripped down..going to take it to get soda blasted....,.going to take frame to get sand blasted.so i could get a fresh coat of paint on it..im glad its spring...

Sorry to hear your cab was in such bad shape. I know how you feel. I was in the same boat and ended up getting anther one instead of going through the extensive rust repair on my 67.

today i took the old rear end out got it apart.saved what i needed ..tore the new one apart..waiting for my posi to get here...i have my new cab here on the rolling frame waiting to go get media blasted...as soon as the rear end is back in frame ,it goes and gets blasted, so i could put some primer and paint on it.....

got the posi in...frame is going to the sandblaster in 2 weeks....all the sheet metal and cab is going to the media blaster in 3-4 weeks..( imperial blasting ) in soutyh holland ,illinois ..ill have some photos then.

wow its been awile....but the frame is getting blasted --- then getting expoxy primer...then i can put on a few good coats of eastwoods high gloss frame paint.....then i can get going and doing more work..

got the frame back,, epoxy primer...one coat of black chassis paint on it..closed off the fuel opening,squirrel cage opening and front of cab...to be cont..

got my fire wall closed off....got off some of the vents..dont need going to have ac...will put 6 1/2 speaker in hole and run wires out thru there...

made a filler panel on driver side to match passenger side..hand formed the old fashined way...a small torch and a round bar ..heated and hammered radius on panel...going to weld up the rest of the holes i dont need next..then start inside.

welded up all holes in firewall im not useing..all panels welded up...now its time to go inside the cab..

put the 2 inch lower front springs in , the front sway bar and rear trailing arms bushings are in...

I put on the -6 rear coil springs, all 4 shocks and relocaters & a super track bar kit
