Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build
Great build ... I really dig the pan cake job on the hood. I also thought the rounded bed corners came out well.
I'll be watching the rest of this build. Thanks. Ratty 46 |

Well it's about time you reposted the pictures. You shouldn't have taken 'em down in the first place.

Those look nice, do you have room for a center console?

Hey Tri5nerd, I have enough room but I don't know if I want one. I kind of like the simplicity of Cal58GMC's interior. I don't want something too busy. I don't know what I'm going to do until I do it.lol You know me.lol I try to do what the truck calls for, ya know the theme of the truck. Last edited by Kabwe; 01-14-2011 at 04:46 PM. |

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build
Thanks Kim,
They are out of a 1998 Dodge Intrepid, I paid 120 for them at pull your part. Can you believe they charged me 10 bucks more because one was electric?lol Then he looked at me like I was going to put them back over 10 bucks.lol I'll post pics of how I chose to install them when I take some pics this weekend. I can tell you one thing there is only junk at the yards near my house now. I know that the hotrodders have been through there.lol Last edited by Kabwe; 01-14-2011 at 07:48 PM. |

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build
I have noticed that here too. I suspect with the economy there are lots of people out of work stripping the car hobby interesting stuff out and selling it on ebay, cl or at yardsales or swap meets. That seems to be the case around here. When I as looking to an astro van steering shaft had to go to three yards and found the last one at the third yard. That was out of probably 15 vans I looked at.

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build
Those seats really look good in there. I know you now you are going to lose sleep over what type of center console you're going to build. Hey did you get your steering wheel yet. Now is the time to get it with prices the way they are. This is even 25 bucks less then what I paid for the same wheel on my Pontiac
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/14-Ch...item5d2cffdb4b Just thought I show you since you said you like this style, but lok at all the steering wheels they got some good deals.
