wow, I am sorry...
If you want me to delete the thread for you I will. Just keep in mind if you do sell it that the thread will most likely help you with the value you sell it for. Let me know if you want my help deleting it. Again, sorry for what you're going through

Re: Building this C5 5 Window for my Wife
Sorry to hear about your situation. My oldest son went through that situation about six years ago. It was unpleasant then but has turned out to be a blessing for him. You still might get the last laugh if it hasn't progressed beyound the "on line" stage, when she finds out he doesn't look anything like the pics he sent her, LOL.
The truck is really trick. Don't stop on that. |

Re: Building this C5 5 Window for my Wife
I've told multiple people who care nothing about trucks about this build. You have to finish it. It is going to be incredible. Prayers for you and your family.

Re: Building this C5 5 Window for my Wife
Good to hear that you're back at it.
I wasn't looking forward to having to drive to Utah and figure out how steal and tow back to Oklahoma a half built truck. Waaaaaay to much work for me.

Re: Building this C5 5 Window for my Wife
What is that gas tank filler off of? I was thinking about grafting a remote latching type gas filler on my dad's truck. I like the float look as opposed to the one with the finger hole/bump....whatever you call it. I had actually given some thought into building my own by just cutting the circle in the fender and building some sort of hinge and latch mechanism.

Re: Building this C5 5 Window for my Wife
Sorry I guess I didn't see the email notifications to this thread. Herte's a quick update. I have the front sheet metal all hung and mounted. Radiator & condenser along with the HVAC system all installed. Just need to crimp lines. Took me a couple day but I have the inner fenders fabricated and installed. I'm on the doors at the moment. I have the power windows in but the door actuators for the power locks are too weak so I ordered another set. My plan is to make some sheet metal door panels and double the inside cab wall behind the seats and recess the 700w Kicker 5 channel amp and some small storage compartments in the cab corners. About a 1/2 dozen small items and then onto body work and paint.
I'll takes some pics tomorrow and post em. Thanks for your interest |

Sorry for the slow reply. You can get that filler assembly from Speedway. I found mine on eBay for a few dollars less. I's kind cool. You push the lid to open it and just push the fuel nozzle through the cap. |
