Re: 1970 Blazer project
Took her out for its first quick spin around the block on Easter Sunday. I was like a kid in a candy store!!! She ran beautiful. Starting to get the feel for drive a stick. The wife was making fun of me even before I got it out of the driveway, Oh well.

Re: 1970 Blazer project
I think the hub caps are 1960 chevy. Maybe from Bel Air or Biscayne.

Re: 1970 Blazer project
If you take the top off beware that the body may sage, and the door may not close very well without hitting. I only say that because your rocker boxes are rusty. (from your picture the rocker box bottom has rusted out) The rocker boxes give the body strength when the top is removed. It may not be a problem if your body mounts are in good shape. Very cool original Blazer.

Re: 1970 Blazer project
I was lookin at that one and one in TN. I bought the one in TN. Trust me - - you got the better deal. I've had mine for 8 months and it still sits on jack stands.

Re: 1970 Blazer project
Well I’ve been media blasting my mini bike frame(red one). Nothing special just an old Ruttman with a 3hp on it. The Yellow on has a 6 1/2hp on it. Fun little toys.

Re: 1970 Blazer project
Yes, I cleaned all the sap off the hood and try to buff it. I need to find some time and do the complete truck. My little helper keeps me busy. Any time I go out in the garage she want to come out and play with her toys or go on her swing. Oh well there only this age once right.

Re: 1970 Blazer project
Dont sell it... Keep it ... or you'll regret it later.... think of this way... you have till your little helper can get a drivers license for it to be restored...
