O wow! $1000 into torque wrenches is prob not too hard to do if you want something pretty nice! I went on craigslist and found a brand new snap-on torque wrench and then I also bought a used snap-on torque wrench. I realized that buying used torque wrenches are prob not the greatest investment. There is a reason they are selling them...Live and learn I guess. I found out that the used one I bought might not be able to calibrate it, or it would take too much money to get it back in working condition...

The reason I bought two is because engine building torquing ranges quite significantly and I couldn't find one that reached that range, so I stepped up and bought a 1/2 inch 5-80lbs and 1/2 inch 50-250lbs. I figured that would cover my engine building needs! And prob any other projects I would have.
