No motor, no trans 1/2T

Has motor, has trans and now, effectively, a one ton.

Re: Pics of your trucks when you found them

Here's my Blazer as I found it in 2006. The back end could just barely be seen from the highway. It was sitting behind a small mechanics shop in a neighboring town for about 10 years when I got it. I had been driving by it since I was a teenager, it took me a decade to stop by and ask if it was for sale.

The second pic is a few days later after we negotiated a price and was able to get it loaded on the trailer.

Re: Pics of your trucks when you found them

Here's mine. Bought it off ebay back in Aug 08. Had to drive almost 4hrs one way just to pick it up and trailer it back. Had been sitting 2+ years under some trees before I bought it. It was nasty, took me a while just to clean it up. Here's some before and after pics...

Re: Pics of your trucks when you found them

Here is my 72 when I brought it home. It had been sitting since 1993 on a farm in Minnesota. The kid I purchased it from robbed the 402 out of it and put it on ebay.

Here it is this fall. Still a work in progress.

Re: Pics of your trucks when you found them

Here's what mine looked like when I bought it (10-31-99), but this was taken (10-09-01) after it was lowered in September, 2001.

The lower pic is how it looks, now. This is a bass-ackward progression, but part of the restoration process via a bad decision on who to do the work.
