Re: Hubcap Ideas?
Here's what's in store for my '67 GMC project. 8" 5-luggers powdercoated juicy red with original caps. I also have a set of '65 Pontiac poverty caps I can swap when the mood strikes. I am always in search of cool B.O.P. caps. I have a thing about using Chevy car stuff on Chevy Trucks and On my GMCs using the other GM makes. I'd really like a 389 tri-power in this truck :

Re: Hubcap Ideas?
special-k....I identify with your ideas. I have a set of the '68-9 Camaro/Nova/Chevelle caps....some call them COPO caps because the COPO Camaros had 'em.
I also have 7 of these Pontiac caps. No, none of my kids will want them.....

Re: Hubcap Ideas?
special-k, those look very cool.
I'm going with the idea of using some different sets of caps. I like the thought of being able to change the look of my C10 by simply swapping the caps around. I also have two sets of wheels, one black and one red, that I'm going to keep tires mounted on so I can swap them too. |

Re: Hubcap Ideas?
I figured you could imagine mine with the 67/68 Chevy caps, since they are really the same thing. I plan to run different sets of wheels and tires as well. These wheels were originally slated to run full wheelcovers with custom made wide tires with narrow whitewalls. But,I realized I's be wasting a rare wheel and can just do a set of red 8" rallyes for that set. I just wanted that old timer look with that little glimpse of red at the edge of the wheel. These wheels with the dog dish and blackwalls will be another look. Then,I will also do a set of mags, either Cragar S/S or TTIIs. I may never get that far,but I'd love to go further with a set of chrome reverse, too. What a shame about Stockton Wheel. I had plans for them.
