I bought the brake booster from Master Power Brakes, I think. I had to make the mountong bracket myself out of a piece of 2x3 tubing that I split and machined. The original "bolt in" bracket that came with it, put the booster up at an angle, and it hit the drivers side hood brace. I like the level look of it now.

Re: Post Your Engine Bay Pics!!!!!!

So I always see the concerns about rubber hoses. Is this in regards to making the full run out of rubber, or at all? I have steel from the tank just down a bit into the frame rail so that it has some flex, same for the front. Steel all the way up to the pump, and a steel line from the outlet up to the carb in which there is another small section of rubber.

Ok or no?

A little bit(about 2-3") is ok just to use to make connections. It's not a good idea to use it for the entire line. The modern fuels with ethanol can eat through rubber pretty quick. Alot of new rubber lines are impregnated with silicone to keep this from happening as fast, but will still eat through over time.

Hmmm I probably have a ~6" run on the back and a shorter 2-4" run upfront.

I wouldn't fret it too much, then. Just keep a close eye on that rear section every so often.

i agree i use as much metal as i can thats one good thing about Q-jets no need for rubber lines fuel filter is built in. I've had rubber lines let go and gas go everywhere on the engine lucky it didn't go whooof. I have seen many a cars burn to the ground (for various reasons) when i was in the fire dept. believe me a couple min. is all you got most of the time/ i keep a extinguisher in all my cars/trucks. Also nice engine bays guys sharp!

I am super impressed with how much work went into some of these engines bays. I want to keep the heater and A/C, but hide as much of it as possible. This has some great ideas.

These aren't the best pictures, but are of a friends truck that I did a few years ago, cost was important so most of the stuff was painted and detailed.
