Re: Pics with Thin White Walls
Wow! Nice looking truck. Do you have a build thread for it? I looked and found your introduction thread that started with a photo of the truck with a mattress in the bed. It sure has come a long way. Kudos on a beautiful restoration. Would love to see more pics, inside and out.

Re: Pics with Thin White Walls
I'm debating on this or my Blazer, last year I ran my Dodge diesel and slept in that on the park grounds and left early Sunday morning. My buddy has a spot with all the WWll military Dodges, they set up a small camp. Sorry for the jack

Re: Pics with Thin White Walls
I have cooper trendsetters on mine also. I had to have discount tire special order them, but they are still available, at least as of last September.

I looked, and I don't have any good pictures of the interior now that it's fairly complete. I'll have a take a few and post them to my album. Funny story: I spent more "research" time trying to find a match for the original dealer stencil on the bumper than I did on almost anything. It took me forever, but I was finally able to get a stencil cut from an original machine of the same type originally used by the dealer to paint their name on the bumper. I know a lot of people will think I'm crazy, but I really wanted that historical reference to remain on there.

Re: Pics with Thin White Walls
My local tire guy couldn't get the Cooper Trendsetters for me as of about a week ago, but he was able to get their Mastercraft version (made by Cooper) A/S IV
Haven't mounted them yet, as they wheels still need blasted and painted though. I will post them here when done! |
