Here's a few pics of my peal and seal install in my 57. I am in AZ and it has been in for over a year, no smell yet. Did not put it above headliner yet. Just doing the 'field trial' first.

none whats so ever
the only reason i doubled up is the roads here are very hot cause of the temperature and the heat the motor produces made the floor board get hot so the extra layer made a huge difference for the penny pincher guys i did the entire cab from the fuse box to the rear window with three rolls that is 48 bucks total
