I know that there's a lot of controvery regarding the quality of the filters but I've been using them for 20 plus years with no problems. I change the oil between 3k and 5k and so far 4 of the vehicles I've had that I regularly used the Frams on had well over 200K miles on the engine before I traded them in. Only my 87 olds Calais had an engine problem. The non metal cam gear went out at around 220K. Maybe I've been lucky.

I dont think you should have a problem with the headers fitting the Vortec heads. I have vortec heads and my headers fit fine. To be sure you might want to call Summit Customer Service and ask. I did before ordering mine and they assured me they would fit.

Yep I called them up and they'll fit fine. Only the intake changes on the Vortecs.
