Bills Bracket Company, sold by Speedway Motors:

The lower bracket can be flipped for higher mounting. These are simple, well designed brackets. I won't use any others but these.

I haven't had any luck finding a pic of an original style PS set up yet. I'll keep looking.

Ok, this i what i have. I mounted the Jegs mount with a little grinding. the screws they supply are not the right one's. i shimed it with washer to get the right angle and the only difference is the pulley matching the others. anyone doing this conversion take notes. Buy a 30 pack of beer your choice of Coors and a bottle of Canadian club whiskey. anyways got everything but the rag joint and will get that this weekend. Captainfab help me out on the single pulley if you have one? Here are some pic's with the pump mounted.

Re: Anyone have power steering pump pic's

OK, that pump is for a later model small block with a long water pump. The pulley having the wrong offset and the fact that it is a dual groove pulley is mostly your problem. I don't know if the aftermarket bracket is adding to it or not, as I have not used one like that. What you will need to do is find a PS pump pulley for a short water pump small block, and change it out on the pump you have. You will need a PS pump pulley puller to remove that pulley. You might be better off finding a pump with the correct pulley on it.

We had a Heeler great bear dog called him Huck cause he liked the berries, sad to say someone shot him. The guy must have been color blind and mistook him for a bear, I sure miss that dog....Vernski

Re: Anyone have power steering pump pic's

Finally i figured this crap out. what i bought at long beach swap meet is a power steering pump factory cradle bracket and the brace. the single groove pulley that is needed is part# 509 that will line-up with 283 motor. i found a guy who had all "NOS" parts that's "new old ****" but he was nuts!!!!!! he wanted $500 bucks for a pulley because he says his are the best and not bent!! hell i can buy another truck for that price. I had fun checking stuff out and even brought a bunch of stuff to sell. I'll post some pictures of the install soon as my steering sleeve comes in. here's a couple of pic's with a friend of mine we were both selling 60-66 truck and suburban parts.

Re: Anyone have power steering pump pic's

that mounting brkt that you have the pump mounted to may be to thick. I am using the stk brkts with a later pump and I had to shim it out(the pump) to get it to line up with the third pulley on the c/shaft.
you may have a mismatch of pulleys there also which is making it more difficult for you. look at #32 above on the r/side(red block) that is how your pulleys should look like.
1 on the p/s pump and a triple on the crank . The 3rd c/s pulley just bolts on to a double c/s pulley. don't know what yours came off of. your pump seems to be sitting to far forward. the thickness of the stock brkt is 3/16 of an inch at the back

Re: Anyone have power steering pump pic's

I have the same set up as you only differance is, my power steering reservoir is correct for 1968 (I think) which has a longer more narrrow neck. The altenator belt comes close but does not touch the reservoir. Both are mounted in oem locations on the drivers side no ac. Dont know if this helps or is any kind of solution just my 2 cents.
