Re: Hidden Treasure

What a find!

Interested to see how this all plays out. Hope you guys are able to team up to save these from rotting away or some guy coming when the lady needs money or needs them gone and scrapping them...

Re: Hidden Treasure

I really like the blue and white long bed. So, what's the deal? Does the daughter want to sell all of the cars on the lot, or does she want someone to get rid of the cars and trucks for her? Maybe I missed something in a previous post.

The daughter of the deceased owner and her husband want it all gone, the lot is closed. I only asked about the trucks. The plan was to contract someone with a transporter to load and deliver six units for us but since they are not running it would take some time and money to get them where they could be loaded on a single transporter and nobody wanted to tackle the whole project. I didn't have enough local connections to put the thing together and my brother and I didn't have the time to invest. The transport fee alone made it not profitable.
But...with the right people involved....it might still happen, and everyone gets what they want out of the deal.
Did I make that any less complicated?

Re: Hidden Treasure

If they are even still there. Can't believe they would still be if she is looking to sell.

Re: Hidden Treasure

This was 3 months ago and I think they are still there, see...these folks were not actively doing anything to sell them, not even an add in the paper. I just lucked up onto this place. Looks like any old run down car lot in the country and only local road traffic...and there is no money in this area.
I kept my interest very low key and as far as I know nobody else has shown any interest so.....

"Just a bunch of junk" to the locals

I think I've got it. If they come available, like anyone else, I'm interested in one if the price is right.
