Re: What did you sale to fund a 67-72 project!!!
I am lucky that I didn't have to sell anything to fund it. I have done alot of side jobs to help fund it though, and I spent some of that on the next truck project when I bought my old 68 SWB back.

Re: What did you sale to fund a 67-72 project!!!
I took out a loan in high school, and now that I am getting back to it 5 years later I have cannibalized a lot of the "crap" I did to it then. Sold the blingy wheels, TH350, Roll pan, Paintable front bumper etc.
I also have had good luck buying and flipping parts, I bought a parts truck just for the bed, kept the bed and a lots of other misc. parts and still made all my money back out of it. My wife is very understanding, thank goodness! Soon I'll have to replace all those parts I sold off.

Re: What did you sale to fund a 67-72 project!!!
Some nice things you guys let go. I sold off parts mostly. Still trying to get rid of a few things to help the build fund. I don't think I've sold one vehicle to fund another. Always sold one thing and then waited awhile to decide what I wanted to purchase next. I have been through several cars and trucks though...
