The one in the avatar we came up with the design and had some body make it but going to make our own from now on, and i havent made a design or mold for the 60-66 one yet but it will be a traditional rectangle shape maybe with "60-66 chevy c10's and a bowtie emblem" will see how it goes, if all goes well maybe auction a couple off on the site and have the proceeds go to the forum, but i dont know how that will go ill have to talk to someone first since im not a official paying forum member yet. here's a little clip on making one pretty neat can make finned aluminum parts like valve covers, coil covers, oil covers, etc:

That is pretty cool. Looks simple enough. The only problem i see is I can't be trusted with fire. Yeah, I get that arsonist itch now and again. Kinda like the crack-head's jerk and scratch. Haha. But, I get the flick and torch.

Re: WHAT did you pick up for your truck today

That's cool. I thought about designing one and having a shop here make it for me. Kinda like the lowrider door plaques that perch in the window of those super-custom lowriders you see in magazines and such. Just a thought.

LMC mirror mounting pads with an outside bead molded in. I actually ordered them a few days ago but they arrived today. They look much nicer than the ones on the truck which are just flat rubber that squeezes out in places.

losthope, where did you order the center cap from and what size is it?
Like to finish my steely wheels with that cap.

I picked up a 1 1/4" front sway bar with brackets for $20 from a guy on Craigslist and I didn't have to pull it off the truck. A good day.

I got them from the lug nut king! Look in my build thread and theres a link to his web site, in order to run them you have to grind the stock steel wheel hole so that the bullet fits between hub and rim, in my build thread it shows what i used to grind the wheel hole! and make sure you read the part about ordering 5 bullets to save you trouble in the long run!to find my build thread click the link below:
