Re: 66 suburban build

I got off early today and decided I would remove the upper windsheild panel.I drilled out 88 spot welds. I started peeling off the rusted out panel and naturally found a rat nest.I cleaned it out and discovered a calender from 1968 in the roof opening.I love to find stuff in old cars, kinda tells a story.

Wow nice work so far!
I gotta ask though, your fresh air box, was there alot of gunk in the bottom of it when you got it off there?

Re: 66 suburban build

Had a day to work on the burb,so we focused on one side at a time.Knocked it down to the metal, pulled a few dents and epoxy primed in 6 hrs. I still can't believe how good shape this thing is in.
